Biographical Summary:

Timothy Webster, Ph.D. graduated Cum Laude from Davidson College with a B.A. degree. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia, where his training was supported through competitive University Wide Research Assistantships. His Internship in Clinical Psychology was completed at Baylor College of Medicine, following which he returned to Davidson College, where he served as an Assistant Professor and then Adjunct Professor for several years. While directing a treatment unit at Broughton Psychiatric Hospital he participated in the training of numerous psychologists in their pre-doctoral internship programs. As a Licensed Practicing Psychologist and a specialist in Medical Psychology, much of his professional career has focused on helping persons suffering from pain, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic distress associated with injury and medical conditions. He has been named a Diplomate by the American Academy of Pain Management, and has presented papers at national meetings of the American Pain Society. He provides consultative services to numerous physicians and rehabilitation professionals in North Carolina.
